MOVING TO MY NEXT LEVEL

Thank you for reading Daily Energiser. Please recommend it to all your contacts.

In Advance, I say Good Bye to Farming, And Welcome to My Next Level

Daddy, thank You for all You have done for me so far in life.  In 3 years time by your grace, I will clock 65 years of a fruitful life-time, full of special and unique Testimonies brought about by you miracles.  Then I will move to My NEXT LEVEL which is to  retire from active but strenuous mechanised commercial  to simple mechanised subsistent farming (to meet my family feeding needs). Then i will focus my total attention  to my writing table to start sharing experiences that will motivate people world-wide to better their lots.

Lord grant me this special grace and as you have consistently been with me through the thick and thin periods of my 62 years sojourn on this planet, please never for a fraction of a second, withdraw your mercy from me as I enter in to my new realm. Let my achievements in my latter years be exceedingly greater than the former in Jesus' name.

If you love me, say amen.  If you want to advance to your next level, say amen but define your own Next Level goals, pray as I am doing now to God to make it achievable. If you love other people to have definite goals in life, share to to all the contacts in all the social media you belong.  God willing, God will see us through IJN.

2018 Reflections Part 2

Thank you for reading Daily Energiser. Please recommend it to all your contacts.

2018 is a year I cannot quickly forget in a hurry. .
Spiritually it meant to me, a year of new a beginning, particularly for the church of God.    Using what least mattered, e.g. the social media, particularly the Youtube, and the so-called less spiritual people and their circumstances,(broken marital relationship, etc), God shook the very foundation of His church.  For once, the untouchables within the Church leadership were visited in a way that shook them to their bone marrows.  Their age-long oppressive church doctrines and practices were decisively and successfully questioned such that the church was divided into two parallel camps.

Most importantly the church’s attention was drawn to the fact they had practically abandoned the heart of a true religion - by caring less about the needy in their midst.  Instead, critiques of the church were given boldness to point out that the leadership most revered churches were using the people’s resources to build empires for themselves by wrongly invoking Malachi 3:8-10 to extort  tithes  and offerings from them.   It is as if judgment had actually started from the house of God! And some overflowing Pastors started shedding their weight of wealth by selling of some of their cherished properties.

I learnt some lessons from these developments.  First, nobody, too high or too low, priest or lay, is above correction. Secondly, I learnt that people want to see the promises of God as far as living in abundance is concerned (John 10:10b) manifesting in the lives of the followership of the church rather than only in the lives of their leadership. Thirdly, I could see that  God poured His spirit upon the people directly such that people who were complacent about reading the Bible suddenly realized that they needed to read the Bible themselves so as to stop being fooled by money-laundering Pastors.

Today, people no longer return from their churches feeling guiltier than they left their homes simply because they failed to pay tithes or the other involuntary taxes imposed on them.   Once upon a time,  I could remember, the National Stadium was filled to the brim under Pastor Ashimolowo of KICC’s crusade where he preached on  “The 24-hour Miracle”.   We (the vulnerable) were made to believe that in order to receive such a miracle, everyone we needed to sow N1,000 ea.!  I  did not only subscribe, but I saw with my eyes how huge amount of money was gathered and the bullion packed everything away.  However, I didn’t know how many of us got that miracle except KICC, maybe it is because I could not meet fellow  subscribers one-on-one to interview them on the outcome of their sowing.  One thing I knew was that the promised miracle I wanted to purchase at that crusade did not come.  Enough of these nonsense by our Pastors who mortgage the word of God which Jesus did not do throughout his ministry days.

God, out of His unconditional love and mercy for me, has consistently sustained me with miracles not because I bribed Him!   Today, Preachers are now careful at preaching such because they  know that “everything” they said (unlike before when they would swallow them without questioning)  will be  tested by their listeners. (1 Thess. 5:21).   So an average Christian’s life is no longer as it used to be although there are still men-worshippers amongst us.

In my business, as a farmer, I learnt a lot of lessons too.  I had better understanding of farming techniques and timing.  I got to understand that for any crop production to succeed, in addition to prayers, much physical, financial, material inputs are ceaselessly required between land preparation to harvesting.  Crops are like babies that must be properly nursed from its embryo stage to full maturity.  Any slip somewhere along the line will lead to imminent failure.  There are times of serious pressures a farmer cannot afford to toy with in his farm, particularly, control of weeds will challenge the farmer continuously from planting to harvesting, irrespective of the methods of controls  adopted.

Above all I saw the futility of a farmer’s efforts without adequate financial ability to procure needed inputs to actualize his dream.   Secondly, it became clear to me that a farmer who borrows money from a Microfinance Bank that rakes in between 20-40% interest is laboring in vain.  There are too many risks involved in farming that it is better done with one’s own money or with borrowed money that does not attract more than a single-digit interest and whose repayment is over not less than 3 years tenure at least.  In 2018, I concluded that chasing government CBN-Nisral, anchor-borrowing, so-called farmers organizations for support is an exercise that if it must be pursued at all, must be done passively because they the bureaucracy involved will make it rather unworkable than make it achievable.  There’re clearly more government senior officials who prefer to kill farming business rather than support it.    This year, 2018, I am therefore redefining my strategies to becoming a successful farmer in order not remain  a perpetual slave to money-lenders.  Again when I realize that God has graciously given me up to 120 years of active live, I must after 62 years of age be tallying my activities in farming to what I probably can accomplish myself so I don’t cut my days short because of persistent failed expectations from adversaries who pretend to be friends.   Are you retiring as a farmer?  That’s not a choice for me because it will be the very worse choice.  I am a born farmer, I can’t retire from but can practice it successfully without hurting myself.  I shall do it to the limit I have control over.  That’s what I am saying in essence.
2018 is a year God helped me to achieve a particular goal that had agitated my mind form my early days  - how to affect the lives of the young ones world-wide.  By His grace, I was able to do this through my best book of the year “The Compulsory Journeys of A Life Time” or better still “The Compulsory Journeys of my Life”.  I personally lacked the magnitude of the finance required to go far in its distribution but God sent helpers who helped in propagating the good news by sponsoring and distributing not less than 1000 copies of the book which were all given out free to deserving younger generations.  1000 out of a world population of close to 7 billion people?  I am not bothered as I believe that a journey of a thousand miles starts with a step.   By God’s grace, come January 2019, millions of parents and children will have access to this material free of charge on  Google’s Playstore, courtesy of another IT expert who is working on it right now and is not charging me one kobo!   Some of the sponsors of this project prefer to be anonymous so let me generalize it for all because they are not doing it for a show.  I shall remain grateful to them for joining me to accomplish this longstanding great goal of mine during this very outgoing year.
In areas of politics, in 2018, my greatest achievement was that I was able to realize that there’s a huge difference between a Pastor holding political office and being politically irrelevant.   A Pastor may not hold a political office.  Yes, a Pastor that holds a political office ought to be able to practically shape the world for the better but in practice, I have always feared that it is easier for a Pastor to compromise his faith than to fulfill his mission in politics.   This has made me to develop a cold feet as far as holding political office is concerned. Anyone who is close to me will know that I am an independent-minded person who behaves as led by the Spirit of God in me and can disagree with anyone who disagrees with that Spirit of God and will give me contrary opinion.   Therefore, the only way I think I can be a political office holder is if I am given a political office  which only God can lead any earthly authority to do because there are many qualified active politicians who are waiting for such an opportunity.   This way, I can deliver my vision and if tempted to compromise my faith, I can honorably step down.
However I strongly believe

that  I can still help positively influence the fate of this nation simply with my PVC and by ensuring that I vote for a candidate of my choice as led by the Spirit of God.   I know I can still I can shape the destiny of this nation for the better through social activism  by being vocal in airing publicly where I belongs in matters of politics, even if need be indicate the political party I prefer    I was able to be decisive in this matter this year 2018 and I am thankful to God for the boldness to do so.  It is hypocritical to sit on the fence on any matter for the mere matter of carrying everybody along.

Social media, (Youtube, Whatsapp, Telegram, facebook, twitter, etc) enjoyed my presence this year much more than years before. I was very fascinated at the level of impacts they made on the society as a whole and was able to contribute my own quota through those channels.
In my community and family sectors,  if rated by ‘silver and gold’, I might not be rated high.  That’s the way of a Pensioner cum struggling farmer but in the matters of intangible renderings like love expressed through physical service, to the best of my ability, they won’t write me off.   It’s my own widow’s mite and I am happy they accepted it  tiny as it might be.

So, I give glory to God for making 2018 and pray to God
that 2019 shall be deliver greater good tidings to us all in Jesus name.
review your 2018 experiences too.  Endeavour to share this with as many people as possible.  God bless you in Jesus name.

THE TRUTH ABOUT OUR POLITICAL SITUATION IN NIGERIA

Thank you for reading Daily Energiser. Please recommend it to all your contacts.

A Pastor who stands on the fence even on political matters,   is a coward.  I don't  want to be one. Pastors are people who know the truth and must say it.

Howelever,   if there's something that is hidden but only God knows that makes the Pastors truth to be half-truth,  and then God decides otherwise,  that ( I mean all powers,  all knowledge)  belong to God and His decision is binding on me.

In all the previous attempts of PMB becoming a President , my personal view was in the opposition until 2015 when I had no choice than to say yes because it became clear that, contrary to my bias against him,   PMB was far better than GEJ.  What was my grouse against PMB then?  the draconian and retroactive drug Decree that abruptly terminated the lives of two offenders - Bathlomew Owoh and...  I never wanted to overlook that but later I realised that even God punished the entire world for corruption in Gen. 5-6 and that I was only being technically legalistic and at the same time foolishly emotional.   When God finally decides on a matter, no technically can save the situation. It can, strangely enough be done retroactively as it happened or proactively as the Israelites were warned  in advance before calamity befell them sparing only Noah and his family.   On the day of reckoning, to get justice,  Law will  be  blind! So it was when these men were executed! I pitied them as I pitied the those who were killed by the flood!

But  the truth must be told, PMB was actually right to punish corruption. I was  wrong  for    following technicalities and morality forgetting that he who must come to equity must come with clean hands.  Equity or morality could not avail those drug pushers even if the circumstances of their death were unfortunate. God knew  that  we  were in a very desperate situation then as we are again today and someone  must salvage it - it  happens to be this God sent  Mallam PMB now with a No-nonsense trusted and tested legal luminary Awo-like Pastor  Yemi Osinbajo's who sanitised Lagos judiciary by punishing corruption and rewarding honesty.  Therefore the combination of Christian and Muslim leadership this time around to fight corruption is not ordinary.  It's to let us know that  Nigeria is his baby that must not be killed by corruption.  It is to  let us know that  He is not bothered about our hypocrisy,  hiding under religion.  It is to let us know that He wants to attend to the oppressed  majority of Nigerians.

Therefore  my analysis  of the current situation in Nigeria is that Muoghalu,  Sowore, Fela Durotoye  and others may be potentials, they will be easily floored because they are politically  inexperienced and not yet connected or coordinated enough. And today's Nigeria cannot afford to make that costly mistake.   Buhari is the only (that can win)  candidate we have for now. Only the upright old brigade   can tacle the errors of the mischevious old brigades.   I am so disappointed at the statement credited to  Gen. Gowon that we should allow corruption to tarry while we continue to strive for a better Nigeria. God Himself  did not allow that.  He punished corruption and remade the world.  Thats  what Nigeria needs.  God is extending that eBen to our churches  today and our church leaders are being careful.   The house of God will soon seize to be the haven for thieves in Jesus name.
PMB''s credentials?  He has proved himself beyond reproach.  All the allegations from religion bigotry,  certificate forgery, Jubrin of Sudan, funder of Boko Haram terrorist Group, sponsor of Fulani Herdsmen killings,   etc against him have been proved to be false. Rather his deliveries within 3 years in the office that surpassed pdp's 16 years of reign, his bold attack on corruption such thathard currencies were found in soakaways of top military officers,  etc are clear evidences that we are making progress.

PMB is the most disciplined military and democratic leader Nigeria has ever produced.  and he is the only one for now who has all it takes to frontally confront  corruption  - the mother of   INJUSTICE  the has bedeviled this great nation.

When a person is straightforward,  he can be accused bit he will always  come out better as he will always  win his opponents.  That's Sai Baba for you.  A Muslim with a Christian heart and practice.  A man assigned to better Nigeria. The 'small in stature' David  that can fight our giant Goliath - Corruption and it's  stonr-hearted and shameless agent who have ganged up in a PDP.

Nigeria is  in trouble if ATIKU wins.  It is now a battle between the people and their gang-up oppressors - I mean powers and principalities in high places, I mean the King of Persia who have held back the common man's prayers -the peasant farmers where I belong,  the welders,  the pepper grinders,  the  transporters,  the mechanics,  hairdressers,  barbers,  I mean anybody who is struggling to survive. They have held uninterrupted power hostage,  road construction,  rail lines,  aviation, education,  I mean all sectors of this nation hostage.  Our roles as Christians in destroying this nation even as we pray and sing in tongue awaiting miracles etc must be a disappointment to God.
I cannot hide under the guise of being a pastor and cover what I consider to be true.  As at today (it may be another party/candidate tomorrow) only APC by extension,  PMB  deserves Nigerians  vote for progress. I have said my own  o. Sai  Baba.  Long live Nigeria.

Yemi Omogboyega's 2018 Reflections Part 1

Thank you for reading Daily Energiser. Please recommend it to all your contacts.

Once upon a time we looked anxiously forward to see 2018. By His grace,  2018 has only 9 days to go and we all now look forward to 2019. The year 2018 is a memorable year for us all in terms of ''CHANGE'' in every front. I don't know about you but I can generally say It is a year that no HONEST man's efforts to survive financially counted or worked as planned. My observation is that EVERYBODY survived only by the direct Grace and Miracles of provisions of God given birth to by His UNCONDITIONAL MERCY. To buttress this, how did people survive without earning salaries or with business men and women having no money to do business that will yield them incomes (profit)  adequate enough to cater for them and their families?  2. On the spiritual front,  2018 is the year that churches faced the greatest ever challenges on their age-long doctrinal teachings that went to the very foundation of church funding,  I mean tithing - interpreting the same Bible which have been taught to people over 2000 years - the church became clearly divided into two distinct camps: those for or against tihing and doesn't appear that the centre will ever hold again.

It is the year the lifestyles of church leadership (affluence) versus followership (poverty ridden) lives were thoroughly subjected to scientific investigations. The outcome was that the former was rebuked and the latter pitied and was directly taught that the church had become a milking ground upon which they should stop pouring their hard to earn milk. Whichever side
one belongs,  God continues to care for everybody because He does not attach conditions to His love. He doesn't need bribes!
2018 is the year that God used the safe fallure of someone like  Daddy Freeze’s marriage to open us all up to understand the Bible better by challenging the status quo of Christianity in Nigeria and it is still doing so. The struggle  in the church shifted from focusing on anti-christ to focusing on those who profess to be the true children of God with particular reference to  the Pentecostal churches.
It is a year that  contrary to God's command to bless,  our revered 'men men and women of God' chose to curse everybody, government,  congregation members, terrorists,  or just anybody opposed to their sustained but challenged doctrinal teachings on many issues ranging from money, marriage,  lifestyle,  wealth, etc but such curses never had effect but simply waived aside by our merciful God who was busy meeting everybody's daily needs. God made manifest His  statement ‘vengeance is mine’, not Pastors.
2018 is the year that Nigeria was able to detect that apart from Boko Haram,  the greatest war she really has to fight and win is Corruption.  Many political parties with or without influence emerged but the two most influential parties are APC (the anti-corruption party)  and PDP (the suspected promoter of corruption) and the leaderships of both parties are known for whom they are.  2018 lays the foundation for 2019 that will determine who wins between Mr Anti-corruption and Mr Corruption and Nigeria will never remain the same.
2018 is the year that our Igbo brothers advanced their (shadow chasing) campaign for Self determination as if once won,  there will be no problems for their people Biafra which I thinki s a farce because every tribe has the progressives and the unprogressives amidst them and the problem that makes Nigeria what it is today is waiting for the  Biafra Country expecting to emerge.  The most sensible thing to me is to retain one Nigeria (You can,  if you like,  change her name to WAZOBIA or anything but let the geographical entity be as is) and focus on fighting our real enemy: CORRUPTION, the mother of a son called INJUSTICE!

In Ekiti State, 2018 is a ZERO year for farmers (I mean my direct economic constituency)  as  the FAYOSE administration drove home the point that he had nothing for them except fight the herdsmen whose cows were devouring the toils of the hapless and helpless farmers that cannot even fund their little farms to get good results anyway.

That Government portrayed itself as pro farmer but in reality,  the farmers themselves knew it was anti-farmers.
The 2018 Fayemi's administration has laid her 2019 farmer's expectation budget of 6%  for the farmers which I summed up by asking a rhetorical question: when will farmers received favor from Ekiti State's Government?   I personally don't expect farmers to have less than 25% share of the total budget if we truly want to promote agriculture as our main source of generating good income and food sustainability for the State. What will be the outcome of 26% to be spent on KNOWLEDGE ACQUISITION,  as applicable to farmers when FBS/ADP trained/certified farmers acquire knowledge without the corresponding finances to practise what we learnt from professional farmers schools?  Ekiti farmers are still deep in trouble! May God rescue us.

Now coming to education.  In 1973, I obtained my Primary School Leaving  Certificate/Testimonial free of charge.  In 2018 after a laborious  negotiations,  it cost me N3000 to obtain same for a child I sponsored!
In 2018, I experienced the greatest challenge of my close to 40 years of parenting when one of my 15 year-old children (don't ask whether biological or not . I draw no distinction)   I am trying to shape for the better proved impossible.  After my incessant prayers,  preachings, internal/external counsellings, teachings, appeals,  begging, etc  were all proving ineffective, I painfully and reluctantly handed over my difficult child to the police. He spent 24 hours in their cell to let him know the fate awaiting children who choose the wrong way.  The police helped counsel as well as threatened him and narrated  the ordeals awaiting criminally minded children in their latter life and finally released him to us thinking I had done something that would help us but he came back home doing exactly what he was doing in a more coordinated way.  More hardened is he became such that my heart melted inside me.  Yet this is a wonderful child God gave me a vision of a better tomorrow about. See now why I can change my upbringing strategies on him but cannot abandoned him altogether.  This is a child whose school fees never fails to come from his sponsor so I am not even the one paying it! Mine is limited to ensuring heis character is rightly moulded. .  (Don't ask me whether the Police demanded for cola.  They did not hammer on that because they knew me as a Pastor as one of their officers was my church member. So I did as I deemed fit to appreciate  them for a job well done) Then I resorted to going to, again PAINFULLY AND INVOLUNTARILY taking my boy to Welfare where he spent close to 3  month's   being corrected. He came back more hardened. We're now back home working on him because this is a soul desperately in need of salvation but what to do we don't know but I remain trying in God to change him for the better.   However what baffled me most was I was not able to get him released from welfare easily  because of the illegal demand for 'ransome'. However my professional legal and pastoral trainings helped me greatly to resist paying 'ransome' for what I should get free,  as I boldly demanded he be released without any strings attached and my wishes and command obeyed to the letter.   Such is life.  The devil doesn't leave you until you tell him “God rebukes you". How can a Senior office who doubles asks a parent see our predicament as an avenue to make money? Where is the conscience of a native or orthodox Dr who is approached by a woman suffering from infertility for help but ended up being raped by the supposed helper?

Brethren,  reflect for the rest of this year.

Recount your experiences but don't ever forget that you are surviving 2018 not because you  were able to manage your lives yourself but that God in His infinite mercies graciously came to your aid.  Look forward to 2019 optimistically but cling to Jesus. Compliments of the Season to you all. May the coming New Year usher in for us all unspeakable joy.

May Nigeria never fail, falter and fall I'm 2019 in Jesus name. Amen.

Broken and Contemplating Ending Everything?

Are you overwhelmed?  Whatever the cause, that should not be allowed to determine whether you will live or not.  You don't know how precious you are to God as a living soul!    God is not interested in your death.  He has paid that price on the cross of calvary as explained in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son for whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life".  This is the point at which God Almighty demonstrated the peak of His love for us all.  It caused God pains to redeem us.  Therefore when He sees you passing through a painful period, He is not happy because he is not interested in your 'rushing' back to Him.  Rather he wants you to live your life to the fullest, fulfilled and happy.  That is what glorifies Him and that is what delights Him for only a living soul can praise the Lord moreso that He is not a God of the dead.

Satan has come to steal, kill and destroy.  First he will still your joy either by exposing you to anything disgraceful. That is where you find a Pastor divorcing his wife, committing adultery, stealing church funds, engaginging homo-sexuality, etc. After doing that he would haves succeeded in killing him spiritually first.  Then he will continue to misbehave until he is killed physically by either committing suicide or even committing murder so that there will be more than one deaths.  After doing these, then when the Pastor is out of existence, then all his good works and the glory of God that had radiated around him are completely destroyed!

No situation in this world is so bad as to cause you to ever give thought to killing yourself!  If you do, it means you do are far from God whereas God is nearer to you than anyone else.  Are you a murderer, an adulterer, a prostitute, or are you born out of wedlock and is causing you shame?  Have you embezzled your organisation's money and are being chased about by EFCC, ICPC, etc.  Are you bankrupt?  Or you owe people here and there such that you can no longer walk tall in the streets in broad day light?   Are you a born-again student yet you are failing your examinations and is causing you shame?  Are you faithful to your husband and he is repaying you with beatings?  Is your wife causing you shame?  Is your husband a disgrace? Is your child so bad that you wish he is dead to cover your shame?   Have you had sexual relationship with more than one man, got pregnated and the two men denied paternity and is causing you shame?  Have you snatched your supposed friend's husband or wife and the shame is torturing you?  Is your case outside all these situations but all the same, more shameful?

I bet you, yes it may weary and break you down psychologically, yet  none of them is enough to terminate your life because Jesus has taken away all these sorrows.  And that is the essence of Easter in our lives.

Today, if only you will take a bold step, go to any Bible believing Church, confess your sins to JESUS (not to the Pastor!), accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour, you will be completely out of the bondage. All the
evil contemplation of 'ending everything' about your life will fizzle out and you will become a new person and your life will blossom again.

Good morning.
